Ad-Aware Ad-Aware scans for spyware and other mal-ware that is planted on your computer without your knowledge. I recommend Ad-Aware Plus for the Real-Time protection it provides.
AVG Free Edition AVG is the best free Anti-Virus that I've found.
Spywareblaster Spyware Blaster will 'innoculate' your computer from some malicious scripts, I highly recommend it.
Spybot: Search & Destroy Another spyware scanner, this one also features an 'innoculation' component to help prevent them from reoccuring.
SuperAntiSpyware One of the better products. The free version is good, the paid version even better.

The Naked PC A very good newsletter, I recommend it !
Lockergnome Actually, you can subscribe to any or all of the several email newsletters that Chris Pirillo publishes.
Support Alert The Tech Support Alert is also a very good newsletter.
